Why there’s no digital screen
Most digital warmers measure the heating plate, not the wax, so the number on the screen often doesn’t match what’s in your pot. Learning to read the wax yourself is the safer way to wax. It keeps your wax from getting too hot, which can irritate or burn skin, or staying too cool, which won’t grip hair. When it slides off your applicator slow and thick, like warm honey, it’s ready.

Will it hurt?

It stings a little, mostly the first time. Jelly Wax shrinks around the hair as it sets, so it pulls on your skin less than strips. Many customers report it gets easier with each session: waxing pulls hair from the root, so over time the follicle weakens and the hair grows back thinner. Hold skin taut, lift fast, then apply Cooling Jelly™.

Will it work on my hair?

Is Jelly Wax a hard wax?

Yes. Jelly Wax is a type of hard wax, so there are no strips. You apply it warm, let it set and lift it off.

Most hard waxes are made for professionals. They dry fast and grip hard, because they’re built for a busy salon where someone waxes you with both hands. At home you’re working with one hand, so you need a wax that dries more slowly. That gives you time to finish applying and remove it properly, so you can focus on comfort and results. A fast-drying wax can crack before you’re done, or leave your skin raw from a rushed pull.

I’ve never waxed. Is this going to be difficult?

The kit comes with a step-by-step guide, warmer settings and an applicator guide. Expect to use a little more wax at first, but by the third session most people get the hang of it and use less wax to get their sessions done.

What about ingrowns and bumps?

Scrub the day before, wax, then mist with Keep It Clear™ for a few days after. That routine is the JellyCare™ part of the 5-Step System™.

Amazing kit! I've been seeing advertisements for this for a few weeks after considering waxing, and I'm not disappointed. The warming pot works really well, and the silicone inside is very helpful in removing any extra wax if there is any leftover; the wax also still grips really well if you had some leftover from a prior session and kept it in the pot for next time. All of the scents smell absolutely wonderful - I wasn't expecting to enjoy the signature rose scent as I don't normally like regular perfume or floral scents, but it is absolutely DIVINE. The rose and arctic beads look amazing when they melt, super shimmery, which makes the pain of waxing almost worth it. All of the waxes worked beautifully, and the pre- and post-wax sprays were very helpful. I've already ordered my next set of beads.

I really want to love this product, but the warmer isn’t reliable. The knob came right off when I took it out of the box. The directions state to let the beads warm up for 10 minutes. The warmer shuts off before it’s even been 10 minutes so I’m not sure if my warmer is defective or if that’s normal. I just feel like I can’t get the wax at the proper heat level. Other than that the kit comes with everything you need and I like the box it comes in especially for storage.

This wax is amazing compare to other hard waxes and all waxes in general. It has the softness of was soft wax but without having to use the strips. My daughter is very sensitive to being waxed and she was actually able to let me wax her since I’ve started using jellywax. The kit was great to get started and tryout the different kind of waxes. I love the silicone insert for the warmer. This makes it easy to clean and remove the leftover wax from it. Stopped waxing my eyebrows in my late teens due to the risk of it damaging my skin. Overall I think the kit was good! As someone who has waxed at home before (although it was with sugar wax, not traditional wax), I found everything easy and intuitive to use. There was a bit of a learning curve though. As someone who does have sensitive skin and eczema, I always have to be careful about what products I use. Despite the wax in the kit being scented, it did not cause any flare ups. I would have liked a non-scented option to be included, especially from a sensitive skin perspective.

It's better for people who have thin hair on their legs, as I need way way more than what they recommend (which is about 2 bags?) I probably need about 8-9, since two bags only got me half of one of my legs. The heating pot was also pretty irritating to use, and I basically spent two hours just heating the beads (probably issues on my part, but also if you're similar to me then you might have the same issues). Product is better for small areas like pits/face.

I really wanted to love this brand. A close friend swears by it and recommended it to me, products smell incredible, and the reviews gave me a lot of confidence before purchasing. Unfortunately, after three months of use and more waxing attempts than I can count, I have to be honest about my experience. I also want to be transparent, while I have been waxing for about ten years, I had always been waxed by a professional or used roll-on and microwaveable waxes at home. This was my first experience with hard wax, so there may have been a learning curve on my end. That said, after three months and countless attempts, I would have expected better results by now. The Warmer The warmer takes significantly longer than the advertised 15 minutes to melt the wax — in my experience, it can take 20 minutes or more. The temperature settings are also vague (Off, Medium, and Hot, with no actual temperature readings), which makes it difficult to know if the wax is at the right consistency. On top of that, the wax cools extremely fast, so if you're not constantly replacing the lid between applications, you'll find yourself waiting for it to reheat frequently. The Wax This is what I am the most frustrated about. I was more successful in removing leg hair with tweezers than with any of the Jelly Wax formulas. Most of my sessions had to be split into two because waxing just my lower legs could take over six hours, with a lot of hair still left behind. This review is actually coming after I spent five hours doing cleanup following a six-hour session the day before. Eleven hours for one waxing session is simply not acceptable. I had to go over the same spot repeatedly to remove any hair, which left my skin red, irritated, and covered in bumps, not to mention the leftover wax that stuck to my skin. On top of that, instead of removing the hair cleanly from the root, the wax frequently breaks the hair on my legs and thighs upon removal, which defeats the purpose of waxing entirely and likely contributes to the hair growing in multiple directions. To make things worse, my hair, which had always grown in one direction on my thighs since I had never shaved them, now grows in multiple directions from having to apply the wax at so many different angles trying to get it to work. What Actually Worked To be fair, the wax performed really well on my armpits, bikini area, and worked great on my dad's leg. So, it does seem to work better in certain hair types and areas. Skincare Products I did not notice any difference in using the exfoliating scrub, and I actually experienced more ingrown hairs using this brand than I ever did when shaving. The cooling jelly was the one product that genuinely seemed to help. Final Thoughts What makes this experience even more frustrating is the price. At nearly $300, I expected results that justified the cost. The sheer amount of wax I went through without successfully removing hair (as you can see in the photos) made every session feel incredibly wasteful, both in product and money. When comparable options are available at a fraction of the price, it becomes very hard to justify continuing with Jelly Wax. Everything does smell amazing, and I do think the brand has potential, but at this price point, the results simply don't match. I hope this feedback is helpful for anyone considering this purchase, and I genuinely hope Jelly Wax continues to improve their formulas.

First time waxing by myself, took a while as I've got some large legs. The first attempt I learned that the recommended 15 minutes on high and 5-10 on medium did not heat the wax enough. It was still quite thick and made it an uneven pull. I waited two days and gave it another try. I kept it on high for about 25 minutes then turned it down to medium, when it would start getting a bit too thick I would turn it back up for about five minutes then down again. The aloe gel is nice and cooling, though there was some ache the following day when in bed. Not horrible, and I'm already not having my usual regrowth rate. I will continue my waxing hopefully with more knowledgeable success.

I have used only soft wax for my facial waxing and I started about 10 years ago. Jelly Signature wax is very forgiving for a first time hard wax user. I have very sensitive skin and soft wax would leave my face rashy and on fire. With Jelly wax the redness was greatly reduced and no after burning sensation. I bought it to try out waxing because I hear that it is more gentle on the skin, the price is a little high but you know it is what it is. Overall it was a good experience other than the warmer I feel the wax either runs to hot or too cold and I dont know if im just not following the instructions right or what but other than that its fine

I started with my face because I'm extremely self conscious about that and I wanted to see if the hair would stay away longer. I'm happy to report that it has been almost two weeks and not only is there significantly less hair than last time but the stubble is only just now starting. I used to shave and the stubble would be back within a few hours but with this the hair coming back is barely noticeable. I still have yet to test it on my legs but I'm super happy with these results.

I really liked my experience with Jelly Wax! I've had wax services a long time ago but life happens and I got caught up in it. After enough frustration with tweezers and shaving, I decided to try Jelly Wax. I was really pleased with the whole experience. There is a learning curve, but you learn more as you go. I used the signature wax on my face and was so surprised to see that the redness you get from waxing only stuck around for an hour! That used to embarrass me all the time. There's a few things here and there that I wish you could find more advice for on the website, but I am sure I can research it as well. I just like having everything in one place. Overall, I am really happy with my purchase.

The wax worked, but was far too painful with my coarse facial hair and sensitive skin. I followed all the directions precisely, but it still left my skin extremely red and irritated even with the post cooling gel. I was even bleeding in some spots due to how hard I had to pull for the hair to come out. It also didn’t get all the hairs in each section so in order to be hairless I would need to redo most areas and that would have even further irritated my skin. While the product does remove hair, I don’t think it’s any better for sensitive skin than other wax products and it’s certainly not more skin friendly than other hair removal products. It’s very disappointing that this was marketed for women with facial hair due to PCOS when that’s the area I can’t use it.

I got this kit for my bikini area since it’s the most sensitive area on my body and I am prone to getting ingrown hairs there. I waxed for the first time a few days ago, there is a reason why they tell you to build up a pain tolerance before moving on to intimates , but even after that I have never felt softer or smoother, and typically I would already have hair growing which would cause my skin to be irritated, but I’m still incredibly smooth! I hope after a few more sessions I will see less ingrowns!

I’ve only used this once, but so far it’s absolutely amazing! Right away, I could tell that it was made with care and quality in mind. Melting the wax was super simple and it was easy to apply and take off. There was definitely a little bit of a learning curve, but once I got the hang of it, the session went smoothly and I quickly had hair free armpits I used the cooler which felt amazing. There was honestly very little pain with this wax and it cooled at the perfect time. Both the smooth serum and the anti ingrown spray are absolutely fantastic! I have such sensitive skin and so far, I’m bump and ingrown free. Plus they all smell so good! I highly recommend this for anyone who has hair and/or razor sensory issues

I've used several types of wax before, and it always takes several tries to get all my coarse hair. It's sticky and stays on my skin and such a mess. I don't know if the problem is the warmer or the wax itself but the wax takes forever to heat. this is only my second time trying it since I bought it because the first time was so frustrating. today I have been sitting with the warmer on for well over an hour and the wax isn't even spreadable yet... I've followed all the instructions to a tee. big waste of time and money

I was ready to not spend 120 every 6 weeks on waxing so figured spending 100 to try it at home was a good enough investment.... BEST INVESTMENT!!! Make sure the wax gets hot enough, I had to wait 20 minutes for it to melt completely, and a little trial and error on wax placement, but I will definately be using Jelly Wax from now on!!!

The kit is great. It included everything I need and I love that I can just pop the lid on the pot to store so clean up is easy. The wax smells wonderful but not overwhelming. After using it twice i can say this is a really good kit! Ive never ever waxed before and the instructions are super simple and clear. First time waxing i had a hard time with jt but that was due to lack of experience. After my second time i hardly felt any pain and my pulls went a lot more smooth! Ive had no irritation, i stay hairless for 3 ish weeks (more consistent waxing leads to more time hairless so keep in mind) my only complaint is the warmer is a bit annoying to deal with. Ig shuts off after sometime to avoid overheating (its supposed to do that). My first tome using it i was very impatient so it was really annoying. Although annoying it IS helpful for first time waxers. That way its easier to keep the wax at the perfect temperature so you dont burn yourself. Overall 10/10 kit!

Customer service is amazing! I got this whole bundle but some items were missing so they sent me a care package with extra waxes and applicators!! As for the quality of wax, each texture may work on different parts of your body!! For me, the rose wax works amazing on my legs! The ultra jelly works even better on my face where i have very corse and thick hair folicals that always seemed to grow back twice as fast! And as long as you use the correct texture of wax it will work for you! I noticed a few reviews mentioning how they had to go over several times with ultra jelly wax but i found if it didnt grab one type of hair it grabbed the other! Just be patient and experiment! for the aftercare, AMAZING. Ive been waxing for a year (without jellywax) and attempting to put my own aftercare routine together but this kit has the best! It makes a massive difference and will smooth out your skin and give you no irritation bumps after the first 24 hours!! Very painless wax too!!

Highly recommend the Jelly Wax products! I purchased this for my teenage daughter and it has actually become a bonding time to wax together. The entire process contains instructions which are so detailed and easy to follow. I love this type of wax because it is such a simple concept and so easy to clean up.
