Your hair should be at least 3-5 mm long in order to achieve the best possible result of the wax treatment. The longer the hairs are, the easier it is for the wax to stick to them.
No, the only difference is the smell – and the colors, of course. All pearls serve the same function and are equally effective.

The temperature of the wax is a key factor in determining the outcome of your wax treatment. The ideal working temperature is around 50-55°C. You can reach this temperature by warming the wax pearls on your heater’s max temperature and then turning down the temperature, leaving it roughly in the middle between max and medium. Leave the wax at this temperature for 5-10 minutes before applying it. If the wax isn’t hot enough, it’ll settle on top of the hairs instead of sticking to them. If you find that the wax isn’t catching all your hairs, in 9 out of 10 cases, this is because the wax isn’t hot enough. That said, always make sure that the wax isn’t so hot that it burns you!
1 – Pour out the wax
Pour the excess melted wax into the bin while it’s still liquid. Get as much wax out of the bowl as possible.
2 – Rinse your bowl
Rinse the bowl with hot water (not boiling). Use a soft-bristled brush or sponge to remove the wax sticking to the bowl. If there is any wax that you can’t get off, you can use rubbing alcohol to remove this at the end.
3 – Prepare the bowl for the next treatment
It’s important that the bowl is clean and dry, with no traces of water or rubbing alcohol, when you’re done cleaning it. Remember to maintain a high level of hygiene, as this will help you avoid various injuries during future treatments.
You don’t need to clean your Jelly Wax heater every time you use it. Cleaning it every second or third time will suffice. If you have any leftover wax in the
Jelly Wax heater, you can leave this and use it the next time you wax.

During a treatment with JellyWax, the hairs are pulled out by the root, meaning that the treatment tends to last for 4-6 weeks before the hair has grown back out and reached its full length. At the beginning, some people might find that they can feel or see hairs in the waxed area a few weeks after their wax treatment.
This is because hair does not follow a single growth cycle, and the hairs you might see in the weeks after your wax treatment (1-3 weeks) will have been right under the surface of the skin when the treatment took place. Feel free to wax every third week in the beginning to get your hair to follow a single growth cycle. Over time, this will ensure that it takes your hair 4-6 weeks to grow back.
