Frequently Asked Questions
"Hypoallergenic” means a product is less likely to cause an allergic reaction. However, it doesn’t guarantee that a reaction won’t happen, especially for people with sensitive skin, fragrance sensitivities, or ingredient allergies.
Our wax is formulated rosin-free or made with modified rosin blends (depending on the formula), which are gentler on the skin than raw tree resin. We also add in ingredients like Castor Oil blends to help soothe skin and deter reactions.
That said, every skin type is different, and natural ingredients can still cause reactions for some people.

If you have allergies to coconut, all of our wax formulas do contain Hydrogenated Coconut-Oil. We are currently developing a coconut-free formula, so if you'd like to be added to the sample list for that we'd love to hear what you think. You can sign up for that by emailing us at info@jellywax.co

Here’s an estimate of how many sessions you can get per body area:
- Legs: 1 session
- Eyebrows: 10-15 sessions
- Underarms: 3-4 sessions
- Bikini: 2-4 sessions
- Lip: 10-15 sessions
- Chin: 10-15 sessions
- Brazilian: 2-3 sessions
For beginners, expect to use a little more wax due to the learning curve.
Your height and hair density will also affect the amount of wax needed so these are estimations.
All Jelly Wax formulas are safe for all waxable areas. All Jelly Wax bundles include the Signature Sensitive Skin Formula, which is extra gentle and beginner-friendly.

You can use Jelly Wax on your entire body if you want! They're safe for arms, legs, bikini area, armpits, and your face.
It's so easy! Each kit comes with a Jelly-Pot. To clean up after waxing you simply wait for the wax to cool down, take your Jelly-Pot out, and flip it inside-out!
To clean the outside of your pot you can use baby oil, or any oil you have in the kitchen like olive oil.
Your used wax strips, unfortunately not. The wax still in your pot? Yes! Just pop the lid back on and reheat whenever you're ready to wax again!
Double Dipping - We recommend that you don't dip the same applicator back into the wax pot if you plan on reheating any leftovers and using them again later.

it worked perfectly well when i waxed my underarms, upper lip and chin.. but when i used it in my legs.. i tried a couple times and it only removed a very tiny amount of hair.. i’m disappointed that it did not work for my legs.. but i love it for my underarms and face..

My first time using Jelly Wax I noticed a drastic difference from my previous brand. This is so much easier to apply and remove and gets ALL the hairs on the first try. My underarms often needed 2-3 applications and it all came off in 1 using the creamy wax. Really impressed so far!

The wax takes forever to melt. It will turn on for a minute or two and then turn back off. It took me 30 minutes to have the wax fully melted the last time I used it.

This a new wax I have tried twice so far. It has been working well and smells great and citrusy. It's good for clean up strips on the chin, face, and sideburns.

This Artic Candy jelly wax is my top favorite wax to buy and use. It smells great and goes on smooth. It pulls out my chin hairs and sideburns, and I have used it on my underarms with great results too. I definitely recommend this wax for a first time or experienced user.

So far, I love the Caribbean coconut wax. I have used it twice. It does apply ultra thick so I have learned to use a high heat (not hot to burn skin) and it helps it spread more smoothly. I tried a small patch on my leg which is hairy, and it took most of not all the hair off for a smooth finish. I recommend to try the smaller bags first and see how you like it.

Does take a bit to get the right consistency, and I had to start and stop the process several times in order to do so. Went through an entire bag of wax melts and wasn’t able to finish what I needed to. I’m 99% sure it is user error apart from the small amount of wax melts in each bag.

Amazing kit! I've been seeing advertisements for this for a few weeks after considering waxing, and I'm not disappointed. The warming pot works really well, and the silicone inside is very helpful in removing any extra wax if there is any leftover; the wax also still grips really well if you had some leftover from a prior session and kept it in the pot for next time. All of the scents smell absolutely wonderful - I wasn't expecting to enjoy the signature rose scent as I don't normally like regular perfume or floral scents, but it is absolutely DIVINE. The rose and arctic beads look amazing when they melt, super shimmery, which makes the pain of waxing almost worth it. All of the waxes worked beautifully, and the pre- and post-wax sprays were very helpful. I've already ordered my next set of beads.

I absolutely love the wax kit and will order more. I have very sensitive skin and usually have a lot of issues with the hair removal, but this worked like a charm and was not nearly as painful as some waxes I’ve tried. Will buy from again. The company also was very helpful and kind with an issue I had and just for that kind of attentiveness alone they’re worth buying from. Very nice wax and customer service.

My waxing journey started when I was officially SICK AND TIRED (and quite frankly lazy) of shaving to get results like lasted maybe 24 hours. I tried the hair removal creams as well and it just was not good enough. I started going to a professional waxing business but that adds up so I learned from home but the Walmart waxing kits and beads were so harsh on my skin. The whole point was that it wouldn’t chip and it, it did. I made sure to prep my skin appropriately; followed the melting instruction. However, if I tried to rip it off when it wouldn’t chip it would only take a few hairs with it and it stuck to my skin.

I only use wax on my face. I have had breakout issues and skin burning issues. Jelly Wax changed my life. After just one use I feel like I have a new face. The whole kit is amazing. It's not necessarily a bad wax, but the problem I have is that it's just okay, and for the price I paid I expected a really great product that would be incomparable to anything else I could get. It's just too expensive for a mid-tier product. Especially if you have fine hair, save your money and buy something cheaper than this, because you won't miss anything quality wise.
